The Young Builders Programme
The Young Builders Programme is designed to equip young people with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to start a career in the construction industry or transition into further training or apprenticeships. It includes hands-on workshops, classroom-based learning, real-world projects, and site visits to ensure learners gain both technical ability and professional confidence.
Structure & Outputs
Output 1 - Health & Safety in Construction
- Understand core health and safety legislation
- Demonstrate proper use of PPE
- Conduct on-site risk assessments
- Learn fire safety, first aid basics and emergency procedures

Certification
Upon successful completion of all units, learners will receive the NCFE Level 1/2 Technical Award in Construction and the Built Environment
