For over 10 years, NU Start and our Education and Youth Development division have harnessed expertise and evidence to create academic initiatives that address the unique social and cultural needs of young people. We provide intellectually stimulating and character-building educational opportunities that go beyond the traditional classroom experience.

Every young person deserves the best start in life, regardless of their background or where they live. We collaborate with teachers, schools, and other organisations to help disadvantaged young people in the UK reach their full potential.

We fund many educational projects that improve outcomes for the most disadvantaged and help level the playing field for all young people.

We support innovative ideas in the classroom and partner with others in areas of greatest need to drive locally led change.
